RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research area covers different aspects of bioinformatics and computational biology, mainly applied to genomic data: genome analysis and annotation, analysis of protein function modulation by alternative splicing, genome-wide analysis of gene expression data, effects of genomic variations on protein sequence, structure and function and their implication in disease.
